Who's TonNet

If you are a regular at Education & Tech, you shall remember that I'd written a post almost everyday since 2003 and before, it even had different names such as Blog For Spanish Readers, BPLE, and so. You'd find posts in Spanish because that's how this blog started. Education & Tech covers tender questions of human living and rougher matters rotting the educators core.

Ecuadorian Slang

En dos ocasiones me han reprochado la forma en la que escribo con justísima razón. Por eso mismo tengo que refererir un post de Newly Purnell en el que se hace referencia a la forma en la que los ecuatorianos hablamos (nótese que el autor del artículo en mención pasó la mayor parte de su tiempo en Cuenca). Para los ecuatorianos no es difícil entendernos pero si a nosotros nos dice un salvadoreño "dale verga" su significado no es el mismo. Un ecuatoriano probablemente tampoco entendería lo que "hallacas" significa para los venezolanos. O el típico "mande" con el cual contestamos a algo que no se ha entendido, muestra mas que suficiente que estás frente a un ecuatoriano. Que otras expresiones ustedes conocen que difieran en significado?
